Girl, 14, who eloped with older cousin reunited with family

A 14-YEAR-OLD girl, who eloped to Ireland with her 23-year-old cousin, has been reunited with her family after being persuaded to return home to England.

Margaret O’Brien went missing from her home in the north of England a week ago and travelled with James O’Brien to Scotland, then to the North, then Dublin.

A family member travelled to Dublin on Thursday and with the help of Irish-based relatives and friends managed to make contact with Margaret. The schoolgirl, from Teesside near Middlesborough, returned home on Thursday on a late flight from Dublin to Manchester.
