Ahern to meet DUP on power sharing

TAOISEACH Bertie Ahern is set for a first-ever meeting with Ian Paisley's Democratic Unionist Party ahead of a review of the Good Friday Agreement announced in Downing Street yesterday.

The announcement followed a 90-minute meeting between the Taoiseach and the British Prime Minister Tony Blair, when efforts to re-establish power sharing in the North were reviewed.

The review will begin on February 3 but no date has yet been fixed for completion.
