British victims of Troubles hold first conference

The event, in Warrington, Cheshire, was established following last year’s publication of The Legacy, a study into the needs of victims and survivors of the Troubles who live outside the province.

Speakers included Colin Parry, whose 11-year-old son, Tim, was killed by an IRA bomb in Warrington in 1993, and representatives from Britain’s Home Office and Ministry of Defence.
