Modernised Courts Service will offer online claims filing

PEOPLE will soon be able to lodge small claims for the District Court online, it was announced yesterday.

The Courts Service announced the initiative as part of its three-year strategic plan for modernisation.

To date the Service has spent more than €120 million on modernising old courthouses, building new ones, improving technology and re-shaping the management of the courts system.
