Cork literati go walkabout

CORK writers and singers will hold a literary walkabout of the city today.

Under the title Street Lines/Línte Sráideanna, the group will assemble at Christ the King Church, Turner’s Cross, at 10.30am and trace Cork’s broad literary and musical heritage along their journey.

The walkabout will start from Turner’s Cross and travel via Evergreen Road along Douglas Street to the City Hall, South Mall, Grand Parade, Patrick’s Street, stopping off at Prince’s Street for lunch in the English Market.
