Irish road deaths rise 7% bucking downward trend across the EU

Road fatalities across the EU decreased by 3% last year while deaths on Irish roads increased by 7%.

New figures published by the European Commission show the increase in fatal road traffic collisions in Ireland is bucking the general downward trend recorded in most EU states in recent years.
