Motorists urged to slow down as 335 speeding fines issued every day so far this year

Gardaí have issued the equivalent of 335 speeding fines to people every day this year, according to figures released ahead of a National Slow Down Day.

So far this year, 32,880 fixed charge notices have been issued to motorists for speeding.
