McLaren supercar ensures Ayrton Senna's legend lives on

Even if this McLaren supercar wasn’t named after the great Ayrton Senna, Shane O’Donoghue says it will go down in history as something very special indeed.

In a discussion with a couple of McLaren’s personnel at the launch of its Senna supercar, talking about the sometimes-controversial use of Ayrton Senna’s name for its newest creation, someone quietly pointed out that the company would have still easily sold every one of the 500 examples made if it didn’t have the Senna name.
