Opel’s new compact SUV is grand, lads

The Opel Grandland X — that second N is important — try saying it without and you will see why.

That quirk is one reason to mock Opel’s newest and largest compact SUV which is much bigger than its little brother the Cross lad... I mean Crossland.

But there are not too many others. This car has a distinct whiff of new Astra quality about it. And that is a very good thing.
