Jaguar unveil new petrol Ingenium motor

The 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium petrol unit benefits from the latest Jaguar Land Rover engine technology, including twin-scroll turbochargers with new ceramic ball bearings that reduce friction and a high-flow compressor wheel to deliver enhanced performance. It will be constructed in Wolverhampton at JLR’s Engine Manufacturing Centre.

In terms of performance, the engine produces 300bhp and 400Nm of torque, which Jaguar claims can take the F-PACE from 0-60mph in 5.7 seconds while achieving a fuel economy of 40mpg.
