Seat unveils new Ibiza for June delivery
After four previous incarnations, the new Ibiza, according to the manufacturer, comes loaded with the latest technology, has outstanding dynamics and an impressive improvement in interior space and comfort.
The brand’s most iconic model has new styling.
Seat says the fresh design reflects the company’s distinctive DNA but with demonstrates an edgier, sportier design, featuring more sculpted and accentuated, surfaces.
Pre-sales have already begun and the first cars will be delivered for the Irish market in late June 2017.
The new Ibiza is a completely new model that has been created with very ambitious goals in mind: To go a major step ahead in safety, design, performance and comfort.
A claimed huge advance in quality was achieved thanks to the new MQB A0 modular platform.
The new Ibiza is the Volkswagen Group’s first model to use this platform, highlighting Seat’s importance within the Group and offering countless advantages.
It will be available in a choice of a 1.0 MPI 75 bhp petrol engine and 1.0 and 1.5 TSI engines across 75bhp, 95bhp, 115bhp and 150bhp. In terms of diesel engines, the Ibiza will be available in 1.6TDI 80 bhp and 95 bhp arriving later this year. It is available in four trim levels; S, SE, Xcellence and FR.
Prices for the new Ibiza start at €14,995 for the S range, €17,335 for the SE range, €18,745 for Xcellence and €19,465 for the FR range.

Seat obtained the best financial results in its history in 2016 with an operating profit of €143 million.
