I often wonder when I see a Mazda6 pass me on the road why it is that so few of them are around and about on our highways and byways, writes Declan Colley.

Mystery surrounds the lack of sales of such a super D segment car in the Mazda6

I wonder that because this is such a damned good car and in any normal world a lot more of them should be moving off dealer forecourts into the hands of happy customers than appears to be the case.

To the end of April, Mazda sold just 414 versions of the Mazda6 to what I am sure are very happy customers. If I were one of them I’d be happy too.
