Lotus Exige Cup 380 is stripped back

Lotus has unveiled a stripped-back and limited-edition version of its Exige sports car — the Cup 380.

Based on the capable Exige 380, the Cup has a low weight of 1,057kg, achieved through the extensive use of carbon fibre plus the removal of non-essential parts — even the boot carpet has been taken away.

A range of aerodynamic components have been added to the Cup 380, ensuring high levels of cornering ability and high-speed stability.
