Jaguar sets the pace at 2017 World Car Awards

The 2017 World Car Awards winners have been announced, and in a decision that reflects the increasing dominance and popularity of the SUV market sector, the Jaguar F-Pace has been named World Car of the Year for 2017 at the New York Motor Show. 

There were also winners in five other categories and the BMW i3 won the World Urban Car of the Year; the Mercedes E-Class won the World Luxury Car of the Year; the Porsche 718 Boxster/Cayman won the World Performance Car of the Year; while the Toyota Prius Prime won the World Green Car of the Year.
