Four new models of Citroen for 2017
First up are the very important and increasingly popular MPV models, the new C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso which have just gone on sale here with prices starting from €26,695 and €28,995 respectively.
Citroën says the latest generation five-seat C4 Picasso and the larger seven-seat Grand C4 Picasso will look to build on the success associated with this class-leading MPV model.
Available in three trim levels — Touch Edition, Feel, and Flair — both feature restyled exterior faces, a host of new interior trims, award-winning engines, and driver assistance technology.
The look of the models has changed, with both cars sharing a more dynamic front end — the daytime running lights have been intensified with a chrome trim, whilst the wider, lower front bumper and gloss black central moulding add a touch of style and purpose.
New 3D-effect rear lights come as standard across the range, while new rear chevrons are now finished in gloss black with chrome surround.
Other changes on the C4 Picasso include Mamba 17-inch diamond-finish alloy wheels standard on the Feel trim level, while the new Grand C4 Picasso features new integrated roof bars and aluminium side profile on the Flair trim level.
Two new optional driver assistance packages are available, which introduce Citroën first active safety systems such as Active Lane Departure Warning and Active Blind Spot Monitoring.
Owners will also benefit from hands-free tailgate technology on the C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso Flair, allowing the boot to open by simply waving a foot under the rear bumper.
The third new Citroën is the SpaceTourer which is now also available in dealerships and can be ordered now, with pricing starting at €38,300.
This car is said to combine comfort, practicality and good looks with dynamic performance and remarkable fuel efficiency. Cutting-edge technology and a new platform provide top-level safety and a user-friendly experience.

Its new modular EMP2-based platform, a variant of the one used by the C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso, provides more cabin space and boot volume, as well as superior manoeuvrability.
Available in three variants, including a 4.60m long model — a first in the market, which can seat up to nine people — the SpaceTourer is designed with both contemporary family and business life in mind.
Features such as hands-free sliding side doors and a rear window that opens fully, are indicative of its practicality.
Finally, Citroën and the world-famous surf brand, Rip Curl, have joined forces to create the C4 Cactus Rip Curl Special Edition, which arrives in Ireland this month and is available to order now, priced from €23,995.
Featuring unique interior and exterior styling elements to complement the adventurous nature of the model, the new car boasts Rip Curl graphics on the wings and rear quarter-lights; white roof rails and door mirrors; orange seatbelts; orange detailing on the audio speakers; and orange-trimmed carpet mats.
The Special Edition also introduces Grip Control to the C4 Cactus range for the first time. This intelligent traction system allows drivers to select different modes to deal with the types of surfaces encountered as part of an adventurous outdoor lifestyle, such as snow, mud and sand.
The Special Edition also features 17-inch diamond-cut cross alloy wheels with Goodyear 4 seasons Mud+Snow tyres.
The C4 Cactus Rip Curl Special Edition will offer customers a choice of two engines, the award-winning PureTech 110 S&S and the Blue HDi 100.
Standard equipment also includes aluminium-effect front and rear bumper protectors, rear parking sensors, a colour reversing camera, automatic air conditioning, automatic headlights and wipers, satellite navigation, a 6-speaker MP3 audio system, cruise control/speed limiter, tinted rear windows, and a panoramic sunroof.
