Is this the motorbike of the future?
The zero-emissions bike has self-balancing wheels to stand upright even at a complete stop.
According to Motorrad, the “flex frame” - a carbon fibre shell extends from the front to the rear wheel of the BMW Motorrad Vision Next 100. Turning the handlebars adjusts the entire frame, changing the direction of the vehicle.
Instead of a traditional instrument cluster, the bike communicates critical data like speed and navigation through a head-up display.
BMW has also designed a lightweight, flexible suit that cools or heats the rider. Vibrations in the leg and arm sections correspond to sat-nav directions, and at high speed, the neck section inflates to provide extra support for the head.
