Audi Q5 sales hit 1m

The one millionth Audi Q5 has driven off the production line at Audi’s main plant at Ingolstadt.

The firm delivered a total of 266,968 Audi Q5s to customers worldwide last year, about 8% more than in 2014 (247,446). Audi says unit sales are up 4.7% in the first half of this year, with more than 650 built every day in Ingolstadt.

In Ireland the 2.0 TDI 190 quattro SE model is the highest selling Q5 this year, with the OTR price for the range starting at €43,580.
