The Opel Insignia is finally transformed

Without doubt the Opel Insignia is a car which has slowly gestated from being pretty much an also-ran in the family/repmobile four-door hatchback segment, into one which is now snapping at the heels of the class leaders.

Although very obviously an eye-catching car from the outset, it was dogged by poor dynamics, average engines, drab interiors and little of the connectivity technology which has become so important for modern buyers.
