Car accessories for dogs are so in Vogue
As long-term partners of Dogs Trust Ireland, ?Skoda says it is keen to create the highest level of safety for all of their passengers — dogs included.
A new doggy seatbelt comes in four sizes, and can be used in combination with a leash. It prevents dogs from moving around in the car, which may be distracting for drivers, and ensures dogs are safely secured in the event of an accident.
The range includes a practical backseat protector, to ensure the upholstery stays clean when your pet travels with you, while the non-slip water-resistant material ensures your pet is completely safe while the car is moving.
Vogue said: “I love being active and being able to bring my dog Winston along to explore new walking routes and trails around the country. The ?Skoda doggy seatbelt is so convenient and means I can strap him in safely so he doesn’t have to miss out on any road trips. The back seat cover is also amazing for keeping the boot clean and dry if Winston has been in for a swim.”
In addition to the dog seatbelt and backseat protector, a divider grill is available for the boot of estate models, which allows you to split your boot into two sections; one for your dog and one for your luggage — perfect for family trips or staycations.
Estate models can also avail of the Cross-Partition Grill, which sits directly behind the rear headrests, allowing your pet to sit safely in the boot without the risk of them jumping into the backseat for a cuddle.
The Skoda dog accessory range is available from dealers nationwide, with prices starting from €39.78.
