Mini Clubman revised

Another chapter has opened in the regeneration of the Mini model family, with the debut this week of the new Mini Clubman.

Mini Clubman revised

Following on from the 3-door Hatch and the 5-door Hatch, Mini says the new model offers customers a premium vehicle featuring the highest level of ride refinement ever seen in one of the products. The car’s signature design feature — the split rear doors — are retained, while accessibility and everyday usability are further enhanced thanks to four full-sized side doors.

Mini is promising a more mature and sophisticated design, but says the new Clubman’s dimensions are larger than those of the previous generation car. It’s 270mm longer and 73mm wider than the 5-door Hatch, with a wheelbase which is 100mm larger. On the engine front, The latest generation of TwinPower Turbo Technology engines have been installed under the bonnet, with three units available from launch — the Cooper Clubman, Cooper D Clubman and Cooper S Clubman. CO2 emissions are as low as 109g/km, with fuel economy of up to 68.9mpg.
