DS celebrating 60 years

Newly-created car brand DS is building an exclusive range of ‘1955 Edition’ models to mark the 60th anniversary of the original DS.

After ditching its direct relationship to parent company Citroen, DS is set to build just 1955 special DS 3 and DS 3 Cabrio models alongside 955 DS 4s and 955 DS 5s, split across all its markets globally, making them almost certainly a very rare spot in Ireland.

In a statement, DS said: “The very first DS, which appeared at the 1955 Paris Motor Show, became a legend in its own time and was a major milestone in 20th Century automotive history.
