Citroen C4 pricing announced
Originally launched in 2010 — 450,000 vehicles have been produced at the Mulhouse plant, in France, since then — the second-generation Citroën C4 has been updated with a new light signature, new technologies and the latest-generation engines.
With prices ranging from €19,995 to €24,545, Citroën says the new line-up sets the standard for comfort in its segment.
The new C4 is available to order now, with first Irish deliveries expected in April.
Updates include a new light signature, with LED running lights, and a more dynamic touch to the rear, with new 3D-effect tail lights.
Inside, there are new upholstery materials and a simpler dashboard, featuring a new, centrally located, seven-inch Touchscreen, while comfort is increased with standard-setting acoustic features, optional massaging front seats and a panoramic glass roof equipped with an electric blind.
Other useful technologies include the introduction of hands-free keyless entry and start and a new, seven-inch Touchscreen that groups all the media and navigation functions together. Features designed to simplify driving include hill-start assist, intelligent traction control and a blind-spot monitoring system.
On the engine front, the latest-generation engines that enhance driveability and reduce fuel consumption include the three-cylinder PureTech petrol engines and BlueHDi diesels, which all meet Euro 6 standards.
The Citroën C4 will also adopt the new trim level names: Touch, Feel and Flair.
