New look for Opel Astra

Opel Ireland has introduced a number of new models to its line-up and the first of these is the new Astra Excite, a hatchback that starts from €20,995.

This model includes standard features, such as air-conditioning, 17-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth connection, LED daytime running lights, remote control central locking, cruise control and steering wheel-mounted controls and leather-covered steering wheel, plus a host of advanced safety features.

Also new to the Astra is Opel’s ‘whisper diesel’ engine, which now has two power outputs from its 1.6CDTI — one with 110bhp and the other with 136bhp.
