Mazda2 out next month

Pricing for the all-new model will start from €15,995 with CO2 emissions from just 89g/km (Tax Band A2, ART €180) and will be available in three engine derivatives, SKYACTIV-G 75PS or 90PS and SKYACTIV-D 105PS with a four level specification grade structure.

Together with a SKYACTIV body, chassis, and manual and automatic transmissions, it also gets the company’s innovative MZD Connect in-car connectivity system, a class-beating range of i-ACTIVSENSE active safety technology and a remarkably spacious and refined interior.

Featuring the signature ‘wing’ front grille and predatory headlamp styling which instantly identifies it as the latest addition to the Mazda family, the company’s all-new supermini goes against the trend in B-segment styling in favour of a dynamic, muscular, cab-rearward design which incorporates a longer wheelbase with smaller overhangs to maximise interior space.

On-board, extra space is complemented by improved seat comfort and bold, clear, coherent instrumentation and switchgear, with superior ergonomics. .
