Citroën delight as sales increase in Ireland

Citroën says it sold 2,259 new cars and LCVs in Ireland last year, an increase of 18.6% on 2013. 

Passenger car sales for Citroën and the DS brand increased by 9.6%, with a significant contribution from the new C4 Picasso.

The Grand C4 Picasso, New C1 and C4 Cactus were launched in 2014. As a result, retail sales are up 52.6%, to 786 registrations.

The new C4 Cactus went on sale in September and is already topping the orders.

2015 will be the first full year of sales for the striking new model, which was one of our ‘cars of the year’ here at Irish Examiner.
