Hyundai dots the i’s with supermini upgrades
The Korean company has come out with all guns blazing - particularly with regard to the i20 - and at the launch in Dublin it was very anxious to highlight just how much value for money it is offering across the range by comparison with its main rivals from Ford (Fiesta), Toyota (Yaris) and Volkswagen (Polo).
It maintains it has the jump on all these opponents in terms of interior space, boot capacity, equipment and - most importantly - price and is confident its new contender in the B segment will help it further expand its market share from this year’s 8.5% to a “minimum” figure of 9.5%.
