A grade for Audi

The Audi A1 and A1 Sportback have been hugely successful for the brand, with over 500,000 cars sold since it was launched in 2010. And now the range is being made even more attractive with benefits to both interior and exterior design.

A grade for Audi

Six engines — petrol and diesel — are new or have been intensively further developed. For the first time, Audi is offering a choice of completely new three-cylinder engines, the 1.0 TFSI and the 1.4 TDI. Fuel economy has been improved throughout the engine line-up by as much as 10%, and power output ranges from 90 bhp to 189 kW. The seven-speed S tronic is available for all engines.

Exterior design is now sportier, and they are two centimetres longer with a length of 3.98 metres. As an option, Audi can deliver the roof arch (of the A1) or roof dome (of the A1 Sportback) in a contrasting colour. Enhanced customisation options are available through a new options list. The updated A1 will be launched in Ireland during the first quarter of 2015.
