Motors & Me: Conor McAllister, Grafton Barbers

I’m driving a BMW 630i. It’s a lovely car. It’s a convertable, which has its advantages and disadvantages in a country like Ireland.
I liked the 630i the moment I saw it. It looks great - but at the end of the day, it gets me from A to B.
It’s has a petrol engine. It’s a 3 litre fuel injection - with sports box.
I’m neither a petrol head nor a Sunday driver. I don’t do very much with the car, other than driving to and from work. Once I get back from work, I park it up and that’s that.
The Datsun 120Y. It was the third-generation Nissan Sunny. The 120Y was introduced during the 1970s oil crisis. It had a very economical engine and that made it popular at the time.
It was very durable machine, and was steady and very reliable.
I’ve just sold my Vespa 125. I also was the proud owner of the very rare MCM Opel Extreme. It was a great car to drive, it looked great and at the time was one of only four in the country.
The coast road around Monaco is stunning. My dream drive is along the Grand Corniche from Nice to Monaco. It takes in some of the best views of the French Riviera.
James Nesbitt. He’s a funny guy an would be great company on a long journey.
My mother-in-law. Enough said.
My playlist in an eclectic mix. Everything from Depeche Mode to Fleetwood Mac and a little Mcelmore thrown in for good measure.
