Nissan says it means business with the confirmation of its re-entry into the competitive and popular hatchback market with its all-new Pulsar, which will go head-to-head rivals with such as the Ford Focus and the VW Golf.

The new car, Nissan claims, combines bold design, technical innovations and class leading interior space.

The company also says that while most rivals put practicality below style and materials, the Pulsar delivers on all three counts. Thanks to a long wheelbase (2,700mm) and clever positioning of the seats, the Pulsar enjoys the best rear legroom in the sector.
