Volvo plan safest car ever made

PRODUCTION at Volvo’s Torslanda plant in Sweden of the iconic XC90 — a car that revolutionised the global SUV sector — came to an end a couple of weeks ago after 12 highly successful years.

The new XC90 is set to be revealed later this month and Volvo promise it will offer the most comprehensive and technologically sophisticated standard safety package available in the automotive industry.

New technologies, Volvo promise, will take the company a significant step closer to its vision that no one will be killed or seriously injured in a new car built they them by 2020.
