Skoda scoops taxi award

SKODA has been voted top choice by those who should know — taxi drivers.

Judging quality, reliability, durability and comfort, the country’s 14,000 full time and an additional 8,500 part time taxi-drivers voted Skoda Taxi ‘Drivers Choice’ at the 2014 Taxi Awards Dublin this week.

Commenting on the results, John Donegan, brand director, Skoda Ireland, said: “We are delighted with this incredible result which follows the Octavia topping a value for money poll in a recent car survey by the consumer magazine Which?. These awards are a testament to the reliability and longevity of Skoda vehicles.”
