Toyota, in particular, has been busy realigning the prices on several of its most popular models.
The Avensis Luna grade has been upgraded with a host of new features and specification and is available for the new lower price of €28,995 (a €2,415 saving on price compared to the outgoing Luna) for a 2.0 D-4D.
The Luna upgrade comes as part of an overall re-positioning of the Avensis model line-up, which now includes a new Sol grade.
The Avensis Luna now offers dual zone climate control, rain sensors and dusk sensors as well as a Bluetooth mobile phone hands-free system and the Toyota Touch 2 multimedia system with rear-view camera for hassle-free parking and reversing.
It now also features key exterior and interior styling, including 17” alloy wheels with machine face finish and on the interior leather Alcantara upholstery as standard. Finally for improved driving comfort, the drivers’ seat will feature Power Lumbar Support.
The new Sol grade offers full leather seat upholstery as standard, heated front seats with 8-way adjustable settings and a choice of two leather seat trims in Ice Grey or Black.

Seat Ireland is offering 1.42% finance on all HP and PCP plans, €142 for a three year service plan and three year’s free road tax on all its models.

Renault has announced its 142 campaign which is called ‘Designed for Peace of Mind’ and it applies to all orders taken from now until June 30, and registered on or before July 31.
