Hollywood stars get facelifts all the time and in the week just past we have seen quite a few of them parading around LA in the run-up to and aftermath of the Oscar ceremonies.

Many such facelifts hardly ever cause a raised eye-brow, primarily because so much money was spent on them that they are almost invisible to the naked eye.

Others sadly — those with not so much cash shelled out on them — are often the cause of much mirth because such was the glaring incompetence that the victim (for that is what they are, victims), have more in common with a recently unshrivelled prune, than they have with anything human.
