Ford Fiesta review (01/05/2013)

By and large facelifts only really paper over whatever cracks have appeared since the vehicle in question was launched or, in some cases, actually re-engineer certain aspects of the car to iron out actual or perceived faults that may have been in the original design. Mostly though, it is about freshening the look of the thing and keeping it up-to-the-minute.
The latest Fiesta is a case in point; Ford has not only given the car a whole new personality — courtesy mainly of the (slightly) controversial trapezoidal grille which some critics have panned but which I actually like. There is now, believe it or not, something of an Aston Martin vibe about the front end look of the car and I think that it not only looks good, but it also stands the Fiesta out from the supermini pack.
