Hollywood star Zendaya has spoken of her concerns surrounding her potential future children having to deal with her level of fame and the movie industry becoming “bored” of her.

Zendaya paid tribute to Beyonce during the BET Awards by wearing a Versace gown inspired by a dress the pop superstar wore in 2003. Euphoria actress Zendaya, 24, arrived at the ceremony in a vibrant purple dress similar to Beyonce’s from 18 years ago.

Zendaya has said helping to produce Malcolm & Marie has given her the confidence to carve out space for other black creatives in the film industry.

Zendaya has said her anxiety stems from the pressure she puts on herself. The 23-year-old admitted that she calls her mother if she suffers an episode at night.

Zendaya said her heart is “overflowing with love and gratitude” as she celebrated her surprise Emmy nomination. The 23-year-old star was recognised for her lead role in HBO’s dark drama Euphoria and found herself in exalted company.
