World Athletics has announced the postponement of the World Indoor Championships in Nanjing in March due to fears over the coronavirus.

It’s been a total wipeout for Ireland on the opening day of the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Sopot – all five of the Irish team have been knocked out already.

It will be a tough first day of competition for the five Irish athletes competing at the world indoor championships in Poland today but they all have their personal goals to keep them on track.
