A novel which set out to correct the âbarefaced misogynyâ in portrayals of Shakespeareâs wife has scooped the Womenâs Prize for Fiction. Derry-born Maggie OâFarrell, 48, has been crowned winner of the 2020 award for her eighth novel Hamnet.
