The owner of a South African wildlife park had a lucky escape after he was mauled by one of his lions.

Rangers in South Africa's biggest wildlife park are killing about 350 hippos and buffaloes in an attempt to relieve the impact of a severe drought.

Of course the group were a little weary of the enormous animal but little did they know what would happen next.
