Irish insurers may examine the use of fitness trackers and wearable devices to determine insurance policies in the future, an industry body has said.

The chief executive of Bank of Ireland has said 200 staff members who believe they should be included in the tracker mortgage scandal numbers are not entitled to redress and compensation.

KBC Bank Ireland has reported a full-year net profit of €183m after tax and impairments for 2017.
