Munster’s hard-earned victory over Exeter Chiefs in Saturday’s Heineken European Cup has come at a serious injury cost.

Irish flanker Tommy O’Donnell is expected to recover in time to prepare to face England from a stomach illness which forced him to go off shortly after half-time in Munster’s clash with Glasgow Warriors on Friday night.

O'Donnell has stepped-up his return from the hip injury that ruled him out for Ireland’s World Cup campaign.
