The loss of 400 jobs at Tellabs in Shannon is expected to be raised with Transport Minister Seamus Brennan, who visits the area today.

It’s been confirmed the Shannon based telecommunications firm Tellabs is to close.

There are fears this morning for hundreds of jobs at the Tellabs telecommunications facility in Shannon.
