Consumers will be able to access online subscriptions for services such as Sky, Netflix, and Canal + when they travel across the EU under proposals tentatively agreed by member states.

UPC Ireland lost almost 7,000 customers in the nine months to the end of March but saw the total number of subscriptions increase in the same period.
