Cork Chamber has sought an urgent meeting with the assistant city manager and the lord mayor in a bid to break the deadlock over the Shandon clock repairs.

Pressure is mounting on Cork’s city officials to cut through red tape and release funding to fix the broken clock in the landmark Shandon steeple.
