Chloe and Sam Magee have qualified for the semi-finals of the mixed doubles badminton at the European Games in Minsk.

Chloe Magee insists she and brother Sam are not getting ahead of themselves after beating one of the favourites in the first round of the European Badminton Championships in Kolding, Denmark.

Donegal brother and sister Chloe and Sam Magee settled for badminton bronze in the mixed doubles event at the European Games on Saturday.

Chloe and Sam Magee guaranteed Ireland a bronze medal in badminton’s mixed doubles at the European games after pushing aside Poland’s Pawel Pietryja and Aneta Wojtkowska 21-18, 21-12 in just over 30 minutes.
