The car involved in yesterday's fatal crash in Co Cavan has been recovered from the canal at Woodford River.

The car was carrying three occupants when it entered the canal at Woodford River, Ballyheady Bridge.

Fears are again being voiced about pollutants entering Lough Lein, the biggest of the three, world-famous Lakes of Killarney.
