Cork’s city councillors have cleared the way for the construction of up to 30 homes on a former car showroom site in Cork’s western suburbs.

Local authorities will get over €226m to facilitate the building of 23,000 homes over the next four years, as part of a plan to provide infrastructure for the construction of properties.
