THE Galway man who murdered Swiss student Manuela Riedo has pleaded guilty to raping a French tourist.

The Galway man who murdered Swiss teenager Manuela Riedo in October 2007 has now pleaded guilty to raping a French woman in 2007.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an aggravated sexual assault in Galway during the week.
