What was not highlighted in the story of 1916 was the strong vibrant faith of the Irish volunteers. 

There seems to be a strong anti-Catholic bias in RTÉ, sometimes it is very subtle and on occasions it is quite aggressive in language and tone.

RTÉ’s ham-fisted debacle in wrongly accusing Fr Reynolds of serious crime begs the question how many more similar programmes by RTÉ castigating religious orders were properly researched and indeed in their presentation of said programmes were they just and fair in their treatment of alleged crimes?
