At least 30 people were killed when farmers raided a village of herders in south-eastern Kenya today in renewed fighting between two communities with a history of violent animosity.

At least 28 people have been killed in clashes between farmers and herders in south-eastern Kenya, a police official said today.

Rangers have arrested three Kenyan men and seized 22 elephant tusks they tried to sell in a south-eastern Kenya town, a spokesman for the Kenya Wildlife Service said today.
