Police in the North are appealing for witnesses following a robbery yesterday afternoon in which two people in their 60s were assaulted by three masked men.

A man and woman were today assaulted during an armed robbery in Co Down.

Six officers were injured as three police vehicles were hit by a car in a chase through Co Down, it emerged today.
